I have been carrying my Note 8 for several months and love the stylus available with Samsung Notes and love the size of the screen, sitting with a 6.3" Quad HD + Super AMOLED Display (1440 x 2960). But recently I have noticed a slight screen image burn.
The screen has an ever-present overlay screen burn of 5 app icons and appearance of screen smudges (yes technical term there). These images appear when I am on a white background and is noticeable when I read emails or select message conversation mode.
I have not been able to clear the burn. The device itself has been a good choice but with the need to have the display brighter than probably recommended, it seemed to cause some burn.
Just be cautious and keep your display at a lower brightness and this may not be a problem.
