In today’s world, you need security everywhere... for your homes, cars, websites, finances, social media, and especially our phones. Our phones carry so much personal information… access to our social media, logons, passwords, browsing history, payment processing, etc. You definitely don’t want your device getting into the wrong hands for someone to steal your identity, etc.
The LG G8 ThinQ has a lot of great ways to protect your device. It comes with Multi ID using three different biometric ways to unlock your phone… 3D Face Unlock, Hand ID, and Fingerprint ID. You can access the security features by navigating to Settings > General > Lock screen and security.
3D Face Unlock - This feature does a facial scan and allows you to unlock your device with your face, as well as show locked content in Gallery and QuickMemo+ with your face.
Hand ID - This allows you to unlock your phone with vein recognition as the 3D sensor on the LG G8 ThinQ scans your palm for Hand ID.
Fingerprint ID - with Fingerprint ID, you’re able to unlock the device, make mobile payments, and show locked content in Gallery and QuickMemo+
In addition to these three biometric security features, there are also some other ways to secure your screen:
Swipe - swipe to unlock (no security, the only benefit is that your screen is not shown until you swipe)
Knock Code - Tap a pattern to wake and unlock the screen
Pattern - Draw a pattern to unlock the screen
PIN - Enter a numeric PIN to unlock the screen
Password - Enter a password to unlock the screen
Google Smart Lock - keep phone unlocked when connected to trusted devices or in trusted places
My favorite unlock features are the Fingerprint ID and 3D Face Unlock. They work fantastically! If you have an LG G8 ThinQ, which is your go-to security measure for unlocking your device?
