After the flagship phones Galaxy S8/S8+ and Note 8 release early on in 2017. Samsung finally delivered the Galaxy S8 Active to Sprint customers. The Galaxy S8 Active is simply a military spec version of the Galaxy S8. It is built with robustness and heavy use in mind. Not trying to undermine the reliability and solid build of the Galaxy S8. Looking at the phone:
The S8 Active version is supposed to be used without you needing a case. The phone does not have the edge screen of S8 and Note 8, but with the same clarity and amazing resolution. The phone is thicker, I think mainly because of its larger battery (4000mAh vs. 3000mAh on the S8). Most of my previous high end smart phones, the battery usually lasts me till about 4 or 5pm of the day. I need to put the phone on the charger at around 2pm so the phone can last the whole day. On this Galaxy S8 the phone can last all my working day:
battery 100% at start of daybattery of 74% at 2pmbattery @ 45% at 7pm
Everything else is functioning just like the super Galaxy S8. It just gave me a great comfortable feeling holding a phone without a case. I think this phone is well suited for people who wants the best phone for their use in a harsh environment or of very heavy usage.
Enjoy & Bye for now.
