Too many good things bout the Google Pixel 3a XL cameras, but one thing I like is the portrait mode. It seems to work well both on the rear and front cameras.
The portrait mode camera is very simple. There is no adjustment you must make, simply tap the area where you want the camera to focus on then click the shoot button. The camera seems to work out the rest.
The results are quite nice indeed. Here are samples of the photos I took in our last vacation in Banff Canada.
