Sprint Product Ambassadors - Moto e^4 Unboxing and Introduction

Sprint Product Ambassador

Hello Moto E4 on Sprint!!

It's good to have Motorola back with Sprint.  I'd like to introduce you to the latest Motorola E4.  I consider this handset a mid-range device for users who are interested in an affordable smartphone with the latest Android User interface.

First-Things-First - Bright Orange.  That's the first thing I noticed with this phone. . . the bright orange box it came in.

With the excitement building, I couldn't wait to get it opened and see what was inside.

The first glimpse you will get when opening a shiny, standard looking smartphone, with moto imprinted on the front. The phone itself is approximately 3 x 5.5 inches (2.87 x 5.66), a phone that will easily fit in the palm of just about anyone's hand without too much thumb stretching for one-handed use.

You'll notice the details on the front screen promoting some of its core features - 5" HD, Splash-proof coating, Quad-core processor, 2800 mAh battery, 8 MP rear camera + 5 MP front camera, and 4G LTE capable.  Simply peel the film back and off to remove.

The volume button is on the right side, right above the power button, the charging port is micro-USB, located on the bottom, and the Audio 3.5 mm headset jack is on top.

The back of the phone has a wrap-around rear cover that is removable for access to the battery, SIM card slot, and the Micro SD card slot (not included, supports up to 32GB).

The box contents are a micro-USB 3.0 cable and charger, battery, and a Motorola Safety sheet.

Upon power-up of your new phone, after the Light-Blue Moto screen, you'll be presented with an option that allows you to customize accessibility settings first before continuing setup.

Accessibility allows you to customize a gesture allowing you to magnify the screen, change the font size, display size, and to turn on TalkBack.

After Network configuration, or if you skip, you will be presented with the option to copy data from an iPhone, another Android, or from the cloud.  Or you can setup as a brand new device, without previous user data.

Onto Moto Privacy statement, adding your name, and protecting access to your phones security options.

Accept Google's privacy policy by choosing Next at the bottom, and continue setup for email / apps.

Optional:  add yourself to Motorola's notification services:

This completes the initial setup of your new smartphone!  To access your apps, slide up from the bottom.  You'll notice the User Interface is almost entirely Google'ish.

The Product Ambassadors are Sprint employees from many different parts of the company that love phones.  They volunteer to test out all sorts of Sprint devices and want to tell you what they think about them.  Each Product Ambassador shares their own opinions of these phones.  The information in this post does not necessarily reflect the opinions of Sprint. #sprintemployee
