Sprint Product Ambassadors – Samsung raises the bar higher with Galaxy Note 10+

Two years ago, I had the Galaxy Note 8, and I claimed that the NOTE 8 was the best phone at the time. The NOTE 8 made me become lazy seldom carrying my full size SLR camera around, as the LIVE FOCUS feature of the NOTE 8 produces exceptional good portrait photos.

Last year I did not have the opportunity to use either the Galaxy S9 or the NOTE 9. It is now my lucky year that I have a chance to try out the 3 new flagship Samsung Galaxies, including the NOTE 10+ which I just received today.

Unboxing the Galaxy NOTE 10+. I must say it is an amazing phone. Following the NOTE 10+ since the day the phone was announced a few weeks ago, the screen size of 6.8” worried me a bit on the overall size of the phone.  However, the edge to edge display of the NOTE 10+ makes the phone slight smaller than the NOTE 8 of 6.3” screen size.  In fact, the sizes of all of the flagship Galaxy devices this year are smaller than the Galaxy NOTE 8.

My hats off to Samsung designers and engineers to keep leap frogging with new features within the last two years.

Below is a brief comparison of the 4 phones: Galaxy NOTE 8, S10+, S10 5G and NOTE 10+:

You can see the sizes of the 4 phones in the two photos below. The marvel of edge-to-edge screen design makes the NOTE 8 to be largest of the 4.

All 4 phones have excellent screen display. The latest 3 phones S10+, S10 5G and NOTE 10+ do have higher resolution than that of the NOTE 8.

The S10 5G and the NOTE 10+ are also thinner than the NOTE 8 and the S10+.  That is the reason that the S10 5G and the NOTE 10+ phones no longer have the headphone jacks.  In return Samsung does give you a USB-C AKG headphone in the box. Note, there is no USB-C to 3.5mm female adaptor in the box.

Only had the Galaxy NOTE 10+ for a few hours, I have only powered up, then used Samsung smart switch to transfer the data and apps from my old Samsung to this NOTE 10+. But I must say I could not leave the phone of my hands; everything is so perfect. I always love the NOTE S-pen and cannot wait to get familiar with all the motion gestures that I can do with the NOTE 10+.

Sprint is having a promotion of 50% off when you purchase the NOTE 10 or NOTE 10+ with a new plan.  I think that is a steal deal and well worth your consideration.

Enjoy & Bye for now.
