FYI - Lifehacker Contributing Editor Kevin Purdy recently released a new book, The Complete Android Guide. According to this post on Lifehacker, the book covers both the very basics of Android system, as well as some handy tips and little-known fixes for more experienced users. The book walks you through the whole experience, from setting up your accounts to learning your way around settings, email management, home screen organization, and the like. The book also features tutorials and how-to’s on syncing media, fixing annoyances, preserving battery life, keyboard shortcuts, and more.
The digital version of the book is $9, but there is also a free wiki-style site for browsing, commenting, and contributing edits and new sections, which they'll incorporate into future editions.
I DM'd (direct messaged) the book's publishers on Twitter to ask if the book applies/refers to the EVO and Epic, and they responded that, "We cover the HTC Sense interface, along with the "stock" and Motorola versions."
