Just tried to use the Wireless Backup to switch out my Samsung A640. It did not work. I went to the local Sprint store and they couldn't get it to work either. I got the same arrogant "it doesn't always work on OLD phones". Nice customer support but this is what I have come to expect from Sprint over the last 10 years. What a poor company!
Please correct your list.
PS I've been in the communication business for over 30 years so I do not consider myself a "newbie". Again, this derogatory classification is indicative of the disrespect that Sprint has for their customers.

I stand corrected. I saw Levi4u's post after I submitted mine, so I double-checked with the Product Manager for Wireless Manager. She confirmed that WB is not available for the Innuendo. There must be a wrong check mark for it somewhere in a database if even the web site says it's supported during the activations process.
I was also told that we will have many free downloadable clients for Mobile Sync starting early next year for most of the devices that have launched in the second half of 2010.
In case other folks are trying to find out if their device is compatible with Wireless Backup, below is a list of devices that support it. If it wasn't working for you on your Innuendo, then there must have been some technical problem.

When I was activating my Innuendo it asked me to enter the phone's identifier (DEC or HEX) to check if Wireless Backup was capable on this phone. It told me Mobile Sync was and that I could use my Wireless Backup account with it. I only subscribed to Wireless Backup to get the contacts to my new phone. Turns out the Innuendo doesn't support Wireless Backup or Mobile Sync, despite what the Sprint site said. All hope is not lost though, continue reading.
I did get my contacts copied over, though. I exported the contacts from the Wireless Backup site to an Outlook CSV which I then imported into my Gmail account. The Innuendo is Gmail capable and will also prompt you to copy your Gmail contacts to your phone's contact list while linking the Gmail account to the Innuendo. Success!
I just purchased an Innuendo and cannot find the wireless backup option. Anyone else have this problem?
