As the gamers – and the folks who make so many amazing video games – were gathering this week at E3 Expo, we thought we would highlight a few game apps that we have been playing lately.
With Air Control you have your zooming jets, puttering planes and more than a few helicopters all coming in to land. It’s your job to get them on the ground safely. Swipe your finger over the screen to guide the aircraft to its runway or landing pad. Or maybe you need to put one in a holding pattern while you take care of a few other planes and choppers.
How many planes can you land safely before the game ends with a mid-air collision?
Bonsai Blast is set in a Zen-like garden, but don’t let that mislead you. This game is all about action. The different colored spheres start poking along the trail. Tap the screen to create combinations of three or more spheres before you lose control of the chain and see all the balls go tumbling down a hole, ending the game.
Back in the day when you had to go to an arcade and feed quarters into a machine the size of a refrigerator, Space Invaders was a popular option. But technology advances and now you can fight off the invading machines on a phone that fits in the palm of your hand.
Robo Defense Free is a fun game that gives you the flexibility to pick your weapons of choice and position them on the field to fend off the hordes of advancing robots. The action gets more and more intense as the game goes on.
These are but a few of the game choices you can download on your Sprint phone. If you could put your favorite game on pause for a few moments, share some of the options you enjoy when you seek amusement during a few spare minutes.
