So Samsung seek originally has twitter app under the Fun feature. It worked ok when I first got it over the summer. But since one month ago whenever I try to get in this app, it says "an error has occurred, please try again in a moment" which actually never got me back again... Does anyone have the same problem?
September 2nd from Twitter;
Over the coming weeks, we will be making two important updates that will impact how you interact with Twitter applications. We are sending this notice to all Twitter users to make sure you are aware of these changes.
What are applications?There are over 250,000 applications built using the Twitter API. To use most applications, you first authorize the application to access your Twitter account, after which you can use it to read and post Tweets, discover new users and more. Applications come in many varieties, including desktop applications like TweetDeck, Seesmic, or EchoFon, websites such as TweetMeme, fflick, or Topsy, or mobile applications such as Twitter for iPhone, Twitter for Blackberry, or Foursquare.
Update 1: New authorization rules for applications
Starting August 31, all applications will be required to use “OAuth” to access your Twitter account.
What does this mean for me?
Update 2: t.co URL wrapping
In the coming weeks, we will be expanding the roll-out of our link wrapping service t.co, which wraps links in Tweets with a new, simplified link. Wrapped links are displayed in a way that is easier to read, with the actual domain and part of the URL showing, so that you know what you are clicking on. When you click on a wrapped link, your request will pass through the Twitter service to check if the destination site is known to contain malware, and we then will forward you on to the destination URL. All of that should happen in an instant.
You will start seeing these links on certain accounts that have opted-in to the service; we expect to roll this out to all users by the end of the year. When this happens, all links shared on Twitter.com or third-party apps will be wrapped with a t.co URL.

Twitter changed how they handle third party app logins.
Try removing your information from the app, reboot your phone then set it back up and see if it works.
If not, You can still view m.twitter.com on your browser, and post by sending a text message to 40404
Well that's gonna be tricky...it ( twitter ) doesn't open, just the error, so there isn't anywhere to remove or even reset anything like login info. for myself.
And since this is a bundled app on my phone called " anthemdash ". with no way to remove it, and resetting my phone not being an option.....looks like m.twitter is the alternative ( I already bookmarked that the day the error started though ).
The question at hand, I guess, is are we going to be forced to reset our phones just to get the twitter app working?, or can Sprint fix this with a phone call to tech support without resetting the phone?, or is this a mass ota fix?
That's what I don't understand, As those having issues are mostly the ones that have the apps pre-loaded, So I would think the carriers would have to do whatever it takes to get those working again and push out a fix. Some of the reports I've read stated that when they called Sprint to report it they were told Sprint doesn't support third party apps. I Say, Well then don't put pre-loaded apps on our phones if you aren't going to be responsible when they don't work.
Ok I feel more assured that some ppl have the same problem here. But does it mean we have to suck it up? I mean, the new changes make little sense my phone coz the app was originally installed in there. Well I can go to mobile.twitter but then I can't post photos by using that. Anyways, hope there'll be some solutions to that.
Sign into your twitpic account and go to Settings>Mobile and there is an email address to send your pics to, Put it your contact list, Then you can use your email app or picture mail app to send the pictures to that address.
