How to avoid paying $200 to cancel plan

My husband & I are both under my grandmothers account, since we pay her our part monthly we figured it would make more since to have our own plan. We are still going to use sprint so it would just be moving our numbers to our own new account. Would we still have to pay the $200 for canceling our plan if we are just moving it to another account?

Catblush360,

Great question, and happy to help! What you want to go is a change of ownership, and this will not force you to pay an early termination fee. Below I have included the link on how to go about transferring your phone numbers to your own account. If you have more questions let me know!

Thanks!
