Mine expired. Long story, but contacted Sprint care via chat on my phone. I was promised by a rep (Lia M) that if I called the number she gave me, they would fix it so I could still use my rewards. I screen shot the whole conversation so I have it in writing. Called the number and was told to call another number, called that number and was told to call another number, I did.
I called that number and it was for American Express, not Sprint, so I hung up. I then called 1-888-211-4727 customer service number and spoke to Golda, who was lovely, but could not help. I asked to speak to a supervisor and got Nathan, who was not so lovely. He said, "Nothing can be done". I told him I have in writing what I was promised by Lia M. because I did screen shots of the whole conversation and that someone needs to honor what I was promised. He just kept repeating his "Nothing can be done" statement in a not so nice tone. I said something can be done, you are just unwilling to do anything. It is not that it can't be fixed, just that no one will. I asked to speak to a manager. He said one would call me back in 48-72 hours. All of that took almost 3 hours.
I then started tweeting and Facebook posting. I got a response and was told via a tweet from SH "You can also call to inquire about getting a new card due to expiration, this may be requested one time within 30 days of the original expiration date. Hope this helps. -SH" I asked for the number to call to do that, and I got no answer.
I was asked to go to secure messaging instead of Twitter and Facebook. I provided the screen shots to them. I spent an additional 3 hours trying to get help via that route. They would only respond once every 20-30 minutes!
I am honestly appalled at how I have been treated. I am a new customer who is beginning to regret being a customer at all.
That is not good that you did not have a good experience with the franchise store, however most Visa Gift Cards have expiration dates, and these do happen to have them.
I had a great experience with the franchise store! The problem was with sprint. Others on this thread have gotten expired cards reissued. resolved. How do I get this resolved? Thanks!
I called the number on the back of the card 855-512-5929 and it gives a website to visit www.sprintprepaidcard.com or you can visit https://sprint.bes.blackhawknetwork.com/ either link takes you to the same website, It has a "Click Here" link for Lost or Stolen Cards. It will lead you to another page to fill out a form. Let me know if you have any questions or need any further help.
To those that got this issue resolved, did you call that number on the back of the card and did they still resolve it despite the fact that it says right on the back that you're basically out of luck if the card expired? I had no idea the expiration date went that fast and I'm afraid of calling and them telling me it's not their problem. -_-
I can't even get the card that I've earned. Many calls over the past month to sprint customer services have resulted in no action. I finally used another thread on this site to message directly with someone to help. Turns out the card issuance was on hold because I had a past due balance. The past due balance was due to numerous billing issues including plan changes with out my authorization, erroneous charges, etc. I finally resolved those last month. No I wait for someone at sprint to get off their ass and do their job. Seems like as soon as T-mobile announced the buyout the company tanked in terms of actual service and customer service. Needless to say I've lost complete faith in sprint and they've lost a longtime customer.
Howdy jkiz. I was assisting you in a private message a little bit ago. The case has been complete, and if you complete what we talked about then you should receive your Master Cards.
Hello, can you please help me? I have 3 expired prepaid Visa's when I switched to Sprint from Verizon. These were packed in a box while moving and just found again. The company listed on the card says there is nothing I can do? Can you please help me as you helped the other person? Thank you!!
thank you so much for your quick reply. Do I need to give them any other information? I'm not sure I understand what you mean by 1 time replacement but I guess I can ask them
Meaning if you let them expire without use, we only offer a one time replacement for them. You will call them, and they will let you know what you need. I am sure it will be card number and account info.
