Switching over from boost

I got my SIM card in the mail from sprint today. I am switching over from boost mobile and bringing my device (iPhone 8) with me. However when I go to the activation page on sprint it asks for a confirmation number and my zip code. I do not have a confirmation number. I only was sent the SIM card over the phone. help?

I would be happy to take a look at this for you. Are you coming from prepaid on any sort of offer? What does the activation page look like?

The activation page is at sprint.com/bring your device and it asks for a confirmation number?

Do you have a number on the paper that looks like this xx-xxxx-123456789?

No it just list “warehouse reference information” and none of the numbers listed there have any dashes in them.

So when you put the sim card in the phone is it giving you an error message?

No it shows sprint lte for about a minute then goes to no service.

We can reset your network settings to see if that works for you. Here are the steps. After you're finished, try to make a call and let me know if that helps.

  1. Dial ##25327# and tap call.
  2. Resetting Subscriber Settings appears. Tap OK.
  3. When finished it should say iPhone is activated.

This did not help. I’m not sure if you understand my issue. I am switching over from boost mobile to sprint using my current phone. I do not have a sprint account and need help activating.

I got you, but without the confirmation number we can't activate your phone.  You can go into one of our Sprint stores near you and they would be able to help you out.
