Blackberry 8830 help.

Just got a Blackberry 8830 this is my first ever Blackberry device. Before I could even activate it, it has been wiped. I did not know about the ten incorrect passwords thing. Should even bother activating or is that even possible now that it has been wiped. If it can be activated should I activate it then take to a Sprint repair store?

It only wiped personal data and since you just got the phone, there was nothing there.  It will still activate just fine/

The wipe essentially just takes the phone back to the way it was out of the box. All user information is removed from the device. You won't have any issue trying to activate it.
