I'm sorry about the delayed response. The actual information within the text messages isn’t stored so the ability to procure that data is just not available. There is a record that is kept data wise pertaining to the sender/ receiver and dates/ times. This is the 100% truth when it comes to text messaging data.
I was told by customer service that, with a subpeona, that it is available? I just want one answer, the correct one...can you please tell me honestly the truth or find out?
Unfortunately Sprint does not store the text messaging content. We do have the ability to provide the send and receive phone number and date/time. There is a form that can be filled out for that and with account verification I can help with that.
I really would like a firm answr as to how long sprint keeps the actual message content of a text message, and is that available if there is a court order? Thanks in advance,
