SOLUTION: Coolpad Tracker + Safe & Found (CP311A) Performing a Factory Reset on the Tracker


In some cases, it may be necessary to perform a factory reset on the Coolpad Tracker if basic troubleshooting does not resolve an issue.

Be aware that the Coolpad Tracker and the handset being used with it must be active on the same account. That account must not have more than 50 active lines already. 

Additionally, the Tracker only works on Sprint 4G Networks in the US. This product is not available in PR or VI. 




Resetting removes the pairing with the Safe and Found account and resets the device to factory settings:
1. Press & hold the Power Button for ~23-25 seconds & release when the lights start flashing Red/Yellow (they MUST be flashing Red/Yellow)
2. Release the button when the lights flash Red/Yellow; lights will continue to flash and then no lights will be flashing (the device is rebooting)
3. Wait for up to 5 minutes for the light to begin blinking green
4. After the light is blinking green, pair the device (scan the QR code or manually enter IMEI)
