SOLUTION: Kyocera DuraForce Pro (Refresh) (E6833) Will Not Charge or Power On

Symptoms

 

In rare cases, users may report devices are not charging and/or not powering on.  Standard triage does not resolve the failure.

 

Solution

 

Kyocera has identified a specific lot of manufactured units which may be subject to no power/no charge behavior. If no obvious abuse is evident, visit service and repair. 

 

Potential impacted ESN range = 99000613405001 through 99000613414042

 

Customers without TEP have the option to contact Kyocera for potential in-warranty repair to avoid associated fees.
