I've been calling since friday to get sprint to activate my iphone 4s and today is monday they still haven't gotten it to activate. I have gotten a new iphone 4s from apple still nothing.. They hung up on me twice while making me wait an hour each. I've been on the phone with them for the last two and half hours and no one has talked to me in the last hour! this is HORRIBLE! I'm considering to switching to AT&T or Verizon at this point!
soo..friday there was an activation outage right, so that prob interferred with your activation? and now you have a replacement device. is that phone swap order from friday still open and needs to be cancelled out so you can activate your current iphone? Or what are you being told so far since you've been on with them a couple hours?
They are saying my SIM card is bad. Little do they know iPhones on CDMA can run without SIM cards. There is seriously something wrong with these tech people. So I'm phone less for another night. Now I have to go to a sprint store for the 4th time in the last five days for the same issue! If its not resolved tomorrow, I'm filing a complaint to the better business bureau. They keep hanging up on me after putting me on hold for hours!
Sorry about the delay. Please update us on the outcome of your store visit, as far as activating your iPhone is concerned. Still not activated! been on hold with sprint again for almost a hour and half!!! Time to switch carriers! and i went to two different sprint stores this morning... not including four times i went over the weekend... SPRINT BETTER PAY FOR MY BILL THIS MONTH! because this inconvience is pissing me off. I'm considering filing a complaint against them to the Better Business Bureau.
Can you check out your PRL on your iPhone 4s please? Settings<General<About and then tap Carrier and it will change to PRL. Is it showing 31001?
Yes it's that. The iPhone activates on my dads line just not mine. And one of the reps hung up the phone on me today again and I wasn't even being rude. She wouldn't even give me her name. So I'm going to file a complaint against sprint to better business bureau. You don't treat your customers like that. I've had sprint for 10 years now and my parents have had it for 13 years. Everyone at sprint seems to lie to make the customer happy then they don't follow up with anything. One of the reps I talked to was a specialist for keeping customers was telling me how he'll get me an iPhone 5 on Monday if his promise off my iPhone getting fixed Monday didn't happen! Still waiting on a call back. I'm going up give a zero to all the reps I talked to in customer service surveys.
I am sorry that you were treated this way. The PRL on your device is for a prepaid carrier which is not being recognized by the Sprint network. To rectify the problem we need to put the iPhone in recovery mode and restore and reactivate via iTunes.
I've restored my iPhone about six times already and got a new iPhone from apple yesterday. They want me to wait 72 more hours. I've been phone less for five days already!!!!!!
