Building on Sprint's Enterprise Messaging Gateway, and the Sprint Enterprise Messenger downloadable Android messaging application, Sprint Enterprise Messenger provides the tools for your HIPPA compliance processes to be complete.
Use your existing messaging infrastructure to communicate PHI to your mobile devices in a secure manner both in transit and at rest.
Allow your field personnel team to send notifications during an emergency to employees and management back at home office With the push of a button, field workers using one of the Kyocera Dura or Sonim devices can send an alert to a pre-determined, customized list of employees. The alert notifies staff of an emergency situation, including the sender’s push-to-talk number and location information.
For more information please contact your Sprint representative.
The Sprint Enterprise Messenger downloadable Android client has been updated to support the receipt of multichoice messages from the EMG via SNPP. Reply messages are restricted to the choices indicated in the messages, making it easier to manage end user responses to job requests or queries.
The Sprint Enterprise Messenger downloadable Android messaging client was updated this week to improve performance in correct issues seen with the application being forced closed. Go to Google Play or Sprintzone to update the client on your device. More updates and support of Icecream Sandwich coming soon.
Sprint now has a new Android Enterprise Messaging client called Sprint Enterprise Messenger available for download from Google Play.
This messaging client has all of the features normally found in an Android client, plus some that you don't, including persistent notificaitons (you decide how often the phone/tablet tells you a message has arrived and hasn't been read), auto forwarding, customization of the client skin and fonts, masking of the EMG shortcodes, a choice between a threaded (default) and an old fashioned list view (last message at top, first at the bottom), and callback number support.
The client is free for 30 days, then $1.99/month thereafter, and can be found on Google Playstore, or on Sprint Zone.
A new domain is being implemented on 2/21/2012 for all EMG account holders using SMTP. All EMG account holders should begin planning to use the new domain The existing domain will cease to work as of 4/6/2012. An updated SMTP connection guide will be posted soon.
As of 2/21/2012, there will be a new SSL secured EMG web address available. The new address will be: https://emg.sprint.com. The existing web address will continue to be available to users, but it is not SSL secured.
