Nexus 5

Cnet & Phonearena are reporting that the Nexus 5 will work on Sprint. Is this true?

Re: Nexus 5

I don't think so. Why would you want a nexus device on sprint after they crippled the galaxy nexus?

I thought only Verizon pulled the Galaxy Nexus issues?

Re: Nexus 5

The specs from the leaked document points to Sprint LTE.

There is a good chance to see the Nexus 5 on Sprint.

Re: Nexus 5

According to the FCC documents it's going to be a Tri-Band LET phone meaning that it will work with Sprint, T-Mobile, and AT&T.

For what it is worth...

@evleaks says yes it is "Coming to Sprint". See links below

The next question is will it be direct from Sprint or will you be able to buy the Sprint version on the Google Play store?

Re: Nexus 5

I doubt you will be able to by the Sprint version on the play store.  You will probably have to purchase it directly form Sprint.

Re: Nexus 5

It doesn't make sence to me that Sprint will offer the Nexus 5 anytime soon considering the fact that the LG G2 is still on Pre Order Status.

@MAXPLAYER14,

I agree you are probably right...

These pics are from a tipster that supposedly found them on the Sprint site. I am a bit skeptical but they are nice pics just the same...

Re: Nexus 5

Yes,

The CDMA version that passed the FCC are specifically for Sprint NOT verizon.

Don't be surprised if it get's announced on the 31st October just in time for Halloween and available or pre-orders on November 8th, 2013.

Get ready for LG to invade Sprint with it's G2 and Nexus 5 then perhaps later the G Flex.......

Re: Nexus 5

Why is the CDMA sprint version cost $50 more than the GSM play store version?

Re: Nexus 5

If you buy it without a contract it's actually $100 more because it is the 16GB version. But if you buy with contract it ends up being a lot cheaper. If you don't want a contract then it would be cheaper to buy it from Google. The play store version will work with either CDMA (Sprint...not Verizon) or GSM.
