Deleting whole words with one keystroke

I found this out by accident, and didn't see anyone else point this out, so...

If you hold Shift key and hit Backspace, the last word you typed will be erased. If you hold them both down, it keeps erasing. Nice for those moments where you aren't happy at all with what you typed.
