I know the pre has some battery issues, but my battery is losing about 1% per MINUTE so i'm pretty sure there's something wrong with it (screen is on lowest brightness setting, not logged into aim, bla blabla, ive tried everything to remedy it).
Whats the best way to go about exchanging it, call tech support? Go to the store?
You will need to take it back to the store you bought it from. They may not be able to replace it right away if they don't have any more in stock.
Did you already take all the steps to improve Pre battery life?
- condition the battery over several days
- update to 1.02 (makes a big difference)
- turn off IM
- turn off Wifi when not used
what are the steps to take to condition the battery?
is that where you charge it all the way, then discharge it as well as some other similar steps?
