Since the latest update on my HTC EVO 3D, I cannot get my 4G to turn on; and when it does, it will not scan for a signal and connect to a 4G signal and I'm in a 4G area (Chicagoland). Anyone else have this issue? And, Sprint, what are you doing about it, other than lip service.
And, Sprint, speaking of lip service, do you have technical support people that are, say, in North America? And have a decent command of English? And don't disconnect me or transfer me to an endless ringing phone?
I've been having the same problem for at least 6 months. I have the sprint sierra overdrive and no 4G service for months but I have been in the 4G service area for the past 18 months. Just lots of excuses from sprint when I call to get answers. They keep saying that they are working on upgrading to the new Network Vision. And every tower in the area is affected with this upgrade.
Call up Sprint and find out what's going on with the particular cell towers you connect to at home and at work. They've been upgrading Chicagoland for a while now. Work on a tower could have coincided with the update.
