Completely agree, Apple has become the company they were suppose to be against
While I agree Sprint and HTC should of done a better job at preparing and making us aware of this, Apple is the bigger evil and is wrong for following through with such practices. BOYCOTT APPLE
The Sprint reps didn't purposefully mislead you. This information about Customs wasn't available to us to communicate until late last night. Please see the thread I posted this morning here for the official communication.
I still believe that Sprint & HTC deserve some Blame. Apple is Horrible

It didn't take long for the first "I'm leaving" thread to pop up claiming Sprint has lied to them on the EVO 4G LTE launch. People READ the articles Sprint and HTC have nothing to do with this at all.
If you want to place blame then place it on Apple for suing the world and causing the hold up in customs. There are already devices here in the States and you may still get your pre-order on the 18th depending on how the injunction goes but again Sprint and HTC have NOTHING to do with the delay.
Read, reread and comprehend the 50+ news articles on this and place blame where it should be and stop jumping to conclusions and flying off the handle making the same old tired hollow empty threats. PRO tip: They (Sprint) knows they are empty threats and most likely get as much of a laugh out of them as the members on this site do. "Oh look there is Billy again. He got a dropped call and is threatening to leave"....LMAO!!!!!
HTC shared this statement regarding the HTC EVO 4G LTE:
“The US availability of HTC One X and HTC EVO 4G LTE has been delayed due to a standard U.S. Customs review of shipments that is required after an ITC exclusion order. We believe we are in compliance with the ruling and HTC is working closely with Customs to secure approval. HTC One X and HTC EVO 4G LTE have both received enthusiastic support and we appreciate customers patience as we work to get these products into their hands as soon as possible.”
Sprint shared this information regarding the HTC EVO 4G LTE:
The U.S. availability of the HTC EVO 4G LTE has been delayed. HTC is working to resolve this issue and appreciates your patience as they work to get products into Sprint channels. We can’t provide specific timing for product availability at this time and we appreciate your patience as HTC works to get products on store shelves as soon as possible.
Delivery of products for pre-order are on hold and Sprint will provide a ship date as soon as possible. Sprint will maintain the promise for the preorder customers that they will be among the first to receive their HTC EVO 4G LTE units.
