Yeah, the plastic concerns me as well. Recently, my GF placed her phone on top of her car. End result, either she or someone else ran it over. If it wasn't for the that the phone has an aluminum exoskeleton, it would have been in a million (exageration) pieces like her previous OEVO (rolling eyes). In any case, the phone still works, screen was shattered or spider webbed but still functions with the touch and the phone is still usable.
I don't see that happening with the SGIII.
its actually somewhat dumbfounding how before HTC was the big dog when it came to kicking out updates and such..sammy was always runner up or further down the list...now its sammy taking the lead and HTC is at the back of the pack licking windows lol...im wondering if JB is having some issues with sense?
a phone every month? all i know is ever since GB the evo line has had issues with sense reloading after using memory hogging apps and such...for the most part this problem has went right up the line with their phones....so it wouldnt be thinking TO far outside of the box to think theres still some ongoing issue and that it might be one in a list of things holding back the JB update..even updates to sense hasnt fixed the issue..maybe lessened it a bit..but most still see it here and there.
Talking about all of the HTC phones not just EVO line.Guess I'm lucky I have had none of the reloading problems you talk about...then I don't load a bunch of apps on this phone.Sense could be the problem with JB .
then again its not exactly new news to not hear anything good or bad from either sprint or HTC about what is delaying it or any possible release dates..HTC used to be pretty good with updates and fixes..theyre sliding a bit though
