Yes, I am still experiencing this (I'm amharh - had to create a new profile).  It is not occassionally happening it's constant and very consistent.  It is dependent to where I am.  If I'm in my town with full signal...no calls.  If I go to another town it may or may not work depending on the town.  I know which areas work based on recent experience and testing.  Seems to having something to do with the tower I am connected to.  Airrave will work.  I've called in 4 or 5 times on this issue and not gotten clear information as to acceptance of a problem.  I don't mind if there's a problem (I realize there will be known issues), but I've not been told it's a known problem.  A quick google search will show that many, many, many people are experience very similar problems.

The caller notices nothing different than if I just missed the call.  It rings a few times and goes to voicemail.  I will get the vm, but no missed call.

Do you know when this is targeted to be released?  My hope is that it happens in a few days.  I have until the 18th until my 14 day trial runs out.  I can't really give this phone a good go unless this comes out.

Still debating on returning it...like the phone, but not receiving calls is a killer and I don't want to get stuck with a phone that doesn't work fully for months and months....

When you called in and spoke with us did you go through any troubleshooting? If so could you please list them. Did you experience any issues with your previous phone? Could you please post the exact address of a nearby business or work address?

For troubleshooting, I've been through new network profiles (or at least an update), update prl, amd check for firmware.  This was done by entering in the code sequence on my phone starting with ##.  The phone reboots and runs it's checks.  I can't remember the number sequence or codes.

I've also had a hard restart (factory) done at a sprint repair store with no luck.  Nearby business is:

Fuquay Varina Walmart Supercenter Store #2836

1051 E Broad St

Fuquay Varina, NC 27526

I've had both the HTC Hero and Original Evo.  Neither had any problems like this.  Just to ocassional signal issues.

Ok, I'm showing there is capacity issues in that area which can cause blocked calls which is what it sounds like your describing but I want to get closer look at your line and history of this, I'm going to send you a private message so I can gather some personal information and check some more in-depth network information.

I am also in that exact area and am having the same troubles.  I have been with other Sprint customers who do not have the problem when I do.  They are not experiencing any problems.  Only on my phone in Fuquay Varina nc.

Not sure what else to try.....sounds like an issue with the EVO LTE.  I'm about fed up with this problem....spent several hours in the Sprint store and they could not resolve problem.

Adam, I am in Fuquay and experiencing same issue.  I have a friend with the same EVO LTE and he is also.  Lame how there is no ackowledgement from Sprint about this.

The same thing is happening in Sanford, NC. Just got off the phone with sprint for the 3rd time this week. Checked and the issue is a "capacity issue" in my area. The tech on the phone was able to look and show they do have planed upgrades but looks like it will be later in the year or near the end of the year. They are sending a ticket to the network engineers to have a look at the towers and said they would get back with me about the issue being fixed or letting me know I will have to wait for the planned upgrades to the tower. Hope they can fix the towers soon and not have to wait half a year for a fix.

How can this be a "capacity issue when only the EVO LTE is being affected in Fuquay?  Do you have the EVO LTE?  I have someone at work that is able to recieve calls at the same time I cannot.  As soon as I leave this area just down the highway, everything is fine.

I live in Clearwater, FL and I'm having the same issues.

Yes I have the EVO LTE. Also have 3 co-workers at right now with sprint and I know it is part "capacity issue" and part EVO LTE. Had a co-worker call me from his EVO and not once did my phone ring. Called his phone and the ring right be for VM his phone ring one time. So it is part capacity and phone in my area. Like a lot of people said there is an issue with the phone because at least it did ring on their end even if it was once that why you know you got a call.

Capacity issue would mean some people would get the call and others do not but you are right it does look like the EVO LTE is missing more of the calls than the other phones in the same place.
