screenshots in texts blurry

I had another EVO LTE that worked just fine after the jelly bean update. Screen shots worked great both ways when sending as a text. With the replacement phone I go everytime I send a screenshot in a texts it is distorted enough that you can't even read it. I always screenshot everything and text them. With sending ad email being the only option that just defeats the purpose. It worked fine on one phone and not another. So I have a heard time seeing how it can just be an update problem. Please fix this soon! It drives me Crazy not being able to use it anymore.

I have the same problem. The underlying issue is that the phone downsizes/compresses all images to about 30K when when attached to a text message. I am wondering if there is a way to change this.

I downloaded Handcent SMS just to send screenshots. I still use the stock 'messages' app for everything else. Handcent works really well and also has emoji. You have to change a setting to make screenshots look better. Settings>send message settings>maximum mms size>2M (evo only). Hopefully the HTC One won't have this glitch, as I am getting one in 2 weeks

Re: screenshots in texts blurry

This is a known issue since the phone was released, documented and reported on this site and to HTC. Sad that now even Sprint is recommending downloading another app rather then get the default one fixed.
