I have somehow accumalated over 5000 text message under one person. Everytime I try to erase them it freezes up my phone and doesn't let me use my phone until I take the battery out. How can I erase these messages without my phone freezing?
i believe there is a app called smschomp that will let you do this. but even still trying to delete that many texts at once is going to either freeze up your phone or slow it waaaay down. if you can try to delete as many as possible without doing the whole batch. you'll usually have problems deleting texts with anything over a 1000. ive tried to have my phone auto delete anything over 250 but for some reason it still wont do it. so i just do it when i see theyre getting a lil overboard.
did that once already after that update that whacked everyones phones. took forever to get it back to how i liked it. ditto with the apps. but also true.
is there by chance any way to move large files like texts to your SD card? might help to avoid freezing up your phone if you were able to plug it into your comp and get rid of it that way. had astrofilemanager on here but never really looked to far into what all it could do and not do.
