How to stop a video started in Google Reader?

I was reading articles from some rss feeds in google reader.  One had an embedded video (youtube, I think) and I hit the play button which worked, but then I couldn't make it go away.  Even exiting the reader app left the sound playing from the video.  I tried starting all of the video-playing apps I could find, but it didn't seem to be any of them.  What's the right way to find and stop a program running in the background like that?

You could force close them by going under, Menu - Settings - Applications - running apps. I hope this helps. Please let us know if there is an easier way
