Why would Sprint lock a forum from customers posting?

I am hopeful someone can explain to me why Sprint would lock a forum from customers posting comments pro and againt the $10 EVO fee..     Anyone?

Because the subject had been discussed to death, And the thread started to become personal attacks. When a thread no longer continues to be productive there is no point to let it continue.

Wow, I will be so happy to see that thread die...  for any reason they can come up with.

For exactly the reason I posted...the thread had become unmanageably large.  There are several others on the forum discussing the same subject...feel free to post in any of those.  And - Levi4u has also specified some legitimate reasons although those weren't the primary driver behind this particular case.

That thread and the nascar app kept popping up like bad pennies.  At least one of them is gone now.
