Adobe Flash-Lite Question

Adobe Flash-Lite Question

I remembered back when Hero was about to come out and one of the features which stood from the iphone was Android was going to have flash-lite support. Is this why Hero has youtube access like in  most android phones, such as the Droid? Does the iphone still not have any flash support at all?

Just curious if anyone knows the answer to this, thanks.

Re: Adobe Flash-Lite Question

iPhone has no Flash at all.

The Youtube app doesn't have anything to do with Flash, though.

OK, I thought Youtube is flashed based. When you right click it reads it as adobe flash player, so I am misreading or misunderstanding something?

Re: Adobe Flash-Lite Question

Youtube.com uses Flash (although you can currently switch to HTML5 if your browser supports it) as its video delivery platform, because that's what browsers support.

Youtube's standalone app does not need or use Flash.
