May be you can hard reset the device to bring it back to its original state.
Give it a try but make sure you backup your data.
I didn't delete it. There was a problem with my rate plan that caused the registration to expire. Care has since resolved the billing side of it but now the only way to get it working again to to re-download. I have had this happen before, but normally its just an easy download from the Sprint software store, which Andriod does not have. Thanks for you help.
Yes. Called 4 times. Care and Tech Support keep giving me the directions to download from a regular Sprint phone. Same thing posted online. I tried to tell them Andriod does not have that menu build into it but that didn't help. Even went to Telenav website to try to download directly but they don't yet have the Hero listed there. I'm sure there is a link, like there is for a Windows Mobile device (tried that link and it does not work either), but no one seems to know what it is.

In the email, include your phone number or your account number, your phone brand and the underlying OS.
Download file using Hero's Web Browser, tap on file, select install using Package Installer.
I will remove the file later on so you better hurry.
