? it needs accompaniment. After I do some ?splainin?, I?ll show you what I mean.
Hyperlapse video mode allows you to speed up video that you shoot, to basically condense a long video into a shorter, condensed, fast or ?hyper? motion video clip.
The Hyperlapse option is one of the custom camera types that is available on the A9 stock load. The camera types are located in a tray just above the back key when you?re in the Camera app. Selecting the Hyperlapse option will change your on-screen camera button to a symbol that represents the hyperlapse camera option.
Shooting hyperlapse video is the same as shooting any other video. Point, click, and frame your subjects until you are done. Once you press stop, that?s where the real magic begins?.
You will see a green progress bar at the bottom, which represents the full length of your video. There are markers at the far ends of the bar which you can slide to create 3 distinct sections of the video. Within each section you can designate a specific playback speed. All you have to do is touch on any of the 3 sections and then select the playback speed, which ranges from 2x to 12x acceleration.
Finally, once you?ve edited the video to your delight, you touch the checkmark in the top right corner of the screen, and the device ?finishes? the video. Check out a sample video here:
One thing that is missing, at least for me, is sound. I know there can?t be sound from the video that I actually shot, but I can maybe have a soundtrack going in the background. Quite frankly, I think there is really ONLY ONE SOUNDTRACK for anything that is shot in fast motion? Enjoy!
