How to Safely Remove HTC One from PC

This might be a dumb question. With HTC EVO 4G (I am so used to it!), I remove it just like removing any USB devices, use the "Safely Remove" option of Windows.

But with HTC One, I don't see that option. Lately, I have been just unplug the USB cable, that's it. Is that the only way to do it? Will it hurt the HTC One in a long run?

Any suggestions/comments are much appreciated.  Thank you.

Thank you for reaching out. This isn't a dumb question at all. You should be fine with just removing your HTC One from your computer. One option you can also do, when you are ready to disconnect, from your phone, swipe down as if you are going for your notifications and change the mode to Charge Only. You will then get a pop up on your computer saying that you are safe to disconnect.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
