Your own tech support department hasn't even been informed not to charge customers for replacement phones. See my post here:
So its day 4 since I reported my "issue" to customer service. NOONE can tell me what the hell is going on with my "replacement order". FINALLY someone with account management comes on the line and gives me some answers.
1. My phone was shipped and she doesnt know why the reps for the past 2 days couldnt tell me that or give me a tracking number since it was "right in front of her".
2. I was NOT charged $35.00 for the replacement (and NO I do NOT have insurance)
3. The tracking number shows the device "out for delivery"
Ill respond later with its condition (new or refurb).
Out of anger on August 2nd, I went and opened up another line on my account and got the Motorola Photon (which is OUTSTANDING in my opinion)... so I will post the replacement echo on ebay as soon as I recieve it. The sale will go towards cancelling that line and paying the early termination fee.
I hate it went like this. I truely liked my echo.
It does pale in comparison to my Photon on several fronts, but the echo was just "different" and I will miss that.
Just updated my phone and all went well, so far. - Looks Pretty!
