(Sprint Product Ambassadors) Kyocera Hydro Vibe: The entry level phone that doesn't feel entry level

When you hear the words "entry level" or "low end", the first thing you probably think of is a flip phone,

or a "smartphone" with a 2" display and a QWERTY keyboard. Times have changes, folks.

The all new Kyocera Hydro Vibe may be considered entry level, but it is definitely no slouch. The specs

boast a Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, a (pleasantly surprising) beautiful 4.5" display,

Android 4.3, 2000mHa battery. 8GB of internal storage (4.4 available to the user, but expandable to 32GB

with a microSD card), 1.5GB of RAM, and water proof (tested for 30 minutes, up to 1m of water).

The phone performs much better than the price point would imply. The software is pretty light, feeling almost

like a slightly modified version of stock android. The design is beautiful, with the front reminding me of the LG G1,

and the back reminiscent of the Galaxy Nexus. If you're looking for a new phone without breaking the bank,

want to get your child a Smartphone that will work even after they forget they had it in their pocket while walking

into the ocean (happened to my brother!), or simply want a beautiful phone that can withstand

those summer rainstorms, this is the phone for you.
