hd attemting then no hd voice

Both of my LG G6's attempt hd voice and fails.  Make the call and get "hd attempting" but then quits when the phone starts ringing.

linkford, thank you so much for contacting us. In order to experience HD Voice, both people need to call each other on a Sprint HD Voice capable phone. Is this happening when you call one person in particular or anybody? In one or multiple locations?

It is my girlfriend which operates the other lg g6 I have on my contract.  I insured that her wifi calling was disabled and still nothing.  HD attempting when starting the calls and nothing.

It appears that my google voice was the problem with the hd voice.  Didn't learn till today that it will not work while Google voice is active.

We tested while my girlfriend was heading home.  It appears you can only have HD voice when google voice and wifi calling are disabled.  HD voice will not work with either one active.
