Have you received the update prompt as of yet? If not please follow the steps provided.

1. On Home screen, tap Menu > Settings.
2. Scroll down, then tap System Updates.
3. Tap Update LG Software.
4. Tap Check Now and follow on screen instructions.

If after completing the above mentioned you still have issues, please let us know.

pleasemakenoteofthefactthatthisenablestheSprint Spark icons, it does not enable Sprint Spark. I live in top Spark area and no LTE, I now see a new spinning 3G icon, but no Spark icon. However once I get into an LTE area I see the new Spark icon and yet get the same speeds as before.

I guess we are one step closer, but even more frustrated than before...

Where are you from?

My friend who did get the OTA update, gets speeds in the 40's mbps since the update.

We even tried to watch the exact same 30second YouTube clip and mine stopped about fifty million times to buffer (well not that many times) while his played smoothly and in HD

I should also mention that I am on 4G LTE (which to me is 3G in disguise)

Still waiting to get the update here in Austin,Tx and Austin is has Spark according to their website.

That looks promising! I'd likely be hitting that same server from outside of Philly. No OTA yet though.
