Re: LTE Not working on the LG G2

27557 nc39 and offspring lane. 3g decent better than 1mbps download but wife iphone is around 12mbps at same loc because lte works on her phone. Downtown raleigh nc really stinks in 3g tho. Like0.1 to0.3 mbps useless slower than molassas in january. I am talking wilmington st and morgan street at the state capital building outside. Lte here on wifes phone is a lot better but she has lte.

Re: LTE Not working on the LG G2

phatspeed7x,

Thanks for the information. The tower closest to you, off 2nd Avenue, has upgrades being applied to it currently. These include LTE services and enhancements to 3G. While this is going on, there may be intermittent service issues, however technicians are working hard to minimize those and process the upgrades as quickly as possible. Thanks for your patience!

lgg21986,

Thanks for your post. Can you let me know the zip code and cross streets in Martinsburg so I can check out the towers in the area? I'll let you know what I see. Additionally, did the store check out the second unit as of yet? Thanks!

Re: LTE Not working on the LG G2

DLEWIS325,

Thanks for the information. The tower closest to you, off Lodge Road, is running LTE services and we plan on enhancing the 3G services as well.

With regards to Raleigh, all the towers surrounding the location you mentioned currently have upgrades being applied to them to bring LTE services and enhanced 3G services. Technicians are working to complete these as quickly as possible. Thanks for your patience!

Re: LTE Not working on the LG G2

Thanks. When do yall think the patch on the phone will be pushed so lte works? The phone and spark incompatability w network is the real problem. Until then there will be a lot of grumbling

Re: LTE Not working on the LG G2

DLEWIS325,

Thanks for your reply. We do not have an exact ETA as the upgrade time can vary based upon regulations, permits, and terrain in the area where we are working on the towers. With that said, we're working hard to get everything done as quickly as possible and greatly appreciate your patience!

I have sprint and an lg g2. First G2 had a problem with the battery, BUT.. it connectedto 4g lte just fine. Now i have my replacement, battery is fine.. but 4g lte has absolutely no connection even where my previous lg g2 did. Zip code is 28027... looks like i need to go back again to try to replace yet another defecter g2..

Re: LTE Not working on the LG G2

Dan, I live in marina del Rey, CA. Sprint's first full LTE coverage in the beach area of LA. I just traded in my evo LTE for the g2 last Friday. I have spotty coverage now at best... Most often no LTE at all. Compared to the HTC, this phone switches much slower to LTE or never switches when compared to my older, weaker HTC. I have consistent high bar coverage on 3g though. I happen to work at Howard Hughes promenade office area which has great sprint coverage... It connects there better but slow to switch from g to LTE. Overall, this is not a tower problem... It is a phone or network issue. I now miss my LTE on the evo.

Re: LTE Not working on the LG G2

Raleigh, NC.  switched from HTC evo lte, that had pretty decent LTE around Raleigh, to G2 on Friday...No LTE now with the G2.  Evo bricked on the car charger so I had to get something. Love the phone other than no LTE now.

Re: LTE Not working on the LG G2

I'm in downtown NYC and my new LG G2 is seemingly stuck in 3G mode. It'll come up as LTE for a few seconds when I first turn it on and then it switches back to 3G and stays there. Would it be possible to get an update as to the status of the nearby towers? The zip code is 10002.

Based on an article posted in another thread (Nexus 5 and LG G2 experience temporary Sprint LTE connectivity issues due to Circuit Switched Fallba...) it seems like Sprint is currently in the process of enabling the towers and phones to work with CSFB and eCSFB which will fix the problem, is this accurate? and if this is the case, can I please get an estimate as to when I might expect the service upgrades to take effect?
