I’ve read a couple of harsh reviews about the LG G2’s personal assistant software called Voice Mate. Frankly, I think it’s getting a bad rap! My experience with Voice Mate has been very positive. I mostly use it to look up directions to a map location or set reminders and timers. These features work (almost) flawlessly! Sure there are some limitations, but Voice Mate is much younger than Google Now and Siri. I think LG even has a leg up on Samsung’s version S-Voice. The G2 also plays nicely with Google Now, so you can use both Voice Mate and Google Now as you see fit.
