So, my phone, and LGG4, just upgraded to Android 5.1. Now, the OS is using so much memory, my other apps are barely running properly. I used to have nearly 1.5 gigs of RAM free. Now, it gets down to under 600 megs after a short usage. Any insight or ideas if Android might be dealing with this problem, or if I can roll back the OS to an earlier version that DOESN'T make my phone work less?
Okay, your bootloader has to be unlocked for that. If you do that, it is possible. But it will void your warranty. And it requires lots of reading up over on XDA Developers.
