Important Notes:

- Updates are being released in stages; all devices will receive the update within 10 days.

- This software update includes a download step and an install step. 

- Download time over 4G or Wi-FI will take approximiately 10 minutes; download time over 3G will take approximately 20 minutes

- Install time will take from 5-10 minutes.

- During the install time, you will not be able to use your device

Update your software

  1. Software update will automatically install on your device


    1.  From the Home screen, press Menu

    2.  Scroll to and tap Settings 

    3.  Scroll to and tap Update Firmware

    4.  Your phone will check for updates

        -  If there is an update, follow the on-screen instructions to download and install it

        -  If your phone displays Your system is currently up to date, your phone is on the

          most current software version, or the update hasn't been pushed to your phone yet

          (See Important Notes above on the rollout schedule) 

Check the version on your phone

    1.  From the Home screen, press Menu

    2.  Scroll to and tap Settings

    3.  Scroll to and tap About phone

    4.  Scroll down to view the Sofware Version
