Have you only cleared the app cache or have you also cleared out the cache partition?

Not sure if what you mean. I have two buttons on the Sprint Hub storage page. Manage space and Clear cache.
There is a way to wipe the whole cache partition which may help as there may be old or temporary files that need to be removed.

That cleared 1.44GB.
Sounds like there was a lot of gunk hanging around in those temp files. Let us know if that helps anything.
