Unfortunately, unless the seller is willing to provide the IMEI before purchasing the phone, you have to take their word on the unlock. If circumstances happen to change, let me know.
How would the IMEI even matter for me? I'm assuming I wouldn't be able to know if it's locked to a carrier anyway.
Anyway, whatever, this whole thing has turned into huge time, energy and money waste. I'll just admit defeat.
Thank you for your time. I do appreciate it.
Ahhh, if only I had known. Didn't realize that I could have done that but my understanding was it was unlocked, I'd have to contact every mobile company who ever sold this particular phone to find out if it was locked to them.
I can still look up the IMEI for you and tell you what I see. Please send it to me in a private message though.
Hello, I'm in the same situation, I have an LG V20 used phone that I need to use from outside USA. Is there a way to unlock it?
@RedCruzr_Sprint My father bought it on Ebay, and gave it to me, it was supposed to be unlocked but unfortunately it seems it's not.
I'm happy to help determine what's going on with the phone and see if I can get it unlocked. I'm going to send you a private message.
Could you please help me to unlock my Sprint LG V20 phone? I'm in Eastern Europe and won't have access to Sprint network.
Thanks and Regards.
Hey andriyol. Do you have access to a Sprint SIM? You'll need one for the V20 before we can unlock the device. Let me know if you don't have one and I can give you the details you'll need in order to get the right SIM card so we can send through an unlock signal.
