If you are thinking uh huh, well whatever, okay... well I’m going to address these specs from a perspective that maybe a lot of you can connect to. So here it is according this gal.
— Display: 5.7" QHD Plus FullVision (2880 x 1440) with 564 ppi and 18:9 Aspect Ratio – I can see everything clearly, and If not, there is a way to adjust the text and icons so I can. Everything is vivid, bright and beautiful. I can watch a movie, or a video on how to play that lead part on a song I have been trying to learn, and the fact that it is on a phone doesn’t matter I can see it and hear it without straining. Oh and better yet, the granbaby can watch that episode of Bubble Guppies that calms her down when she’s missing home.
— Battery Capacity: 3,300 mAh Non-Removable – All of the above mentioned items do not drain the battery as fast as it has with other phones. I definitely get a lot more time for sharing life events and taking one more conference call for that wonderful job that pays the bills. - Something to keep in mind is that this has a USB-"C" port for charging/syncing. So that old sync/charging cable you have in the car or the one the person you are traveling with probably won't fit. I found this out the hard way, so learn from my mistakes and get a new type "C" spare cord for the car.
— Platform: Android 7.0 (Nougat) – This is a great enhancement and the thing I like the most is that it provides the ability to display multiple apps at once in a split-screen format. It also helps you save your battery life without having to manage that yourself. You can learn more at Android 7.0 Nougat - The Next Generation of Android - android.com
— Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon™ 821 2.35 GHz + 1.6 GHz Quad-Core Custom 64-bit Qualcomm Kryo™ - this means it is fast! Loads pages and apps quickly and without issue.
— Size & Weight: 5.86" (H) x 2.83" (W) x 0.31" (D); Weight: 5.74 oz. – Not too big for my hands or too small to where it’s difficult to text or respond to those last minute emails, or sending over a quick grocery list to my husband on his way home from work. Fits in my back pocket or in my small crossover bag without issue.
— Internal Memory: 32 GB –— Supports microSD card up to 2 TB1 - That’s a lot for it to not have to require an upsell on the phone to get it. Combine it with the microSD and WOW! Music, movies, books, games, pictures of the family and the fun we are having this year.
— RAM: 4 GB – It’s the built in memory, that helps you get to things faster.
— Available Colors: Platinum, Black – simple, clean and stylish. You can always find that perfect case for it out there somewhere.
What does all that information really mean to me? I am not a techy, I am an end user. I am an everyday working woman, wife, mom, Nah Nah and domestic engineer. I get a new phone I plug it in, get it up and running and I just expect it to work. Well, this is much more than just your average phone. The moment I got it out of the box I was impressed. It is the perfect size, weight and I love the color. Oh and wait till you see the pictures I took with it, they are amazing! ( I'll post those in the next article)
The LG G6 is a time saver and family planner. An entertainment center and educational library. A “baby you gotta hear this song” and the “baby wants to watch the puppy again”, media player and sooo much more. I have owned LG products in the past and I have to say this G6 is the best and I look forward to seeing everything that can be done with it.
