Problem Activating Phone

Hi!

 

I am trying to establish new service with Sprint using my Sprint DuraXT (Model: E4277) phone. Unfortunately I am being told it cannot be activated since it needs to have it's flag changed from prepaid to postpaid.

 

This phone was previously on Sprint postpaid but was moved to Sprint prepaid at some point, when apparently it was changed from postpaid to prepaid. There is no active service on the device currently. And I've verified with the last active account to use this device that they are not locking the device in any manner.

 

Any help would be most appreciated.

Yes, when you move from postpaid to prepaid it does change the status. We can get a ticket sent off to have the status changed. I am going to PM you for details that I will need for the ticket.
