Thanks Marcus, i've been pulling my hair out trying to sync my calendars and FINALLY something that worked and was logical. Although I do find it funny that in order to get everything from my computer to my phone, it now has to go outlook to gmail to phone PS this way is for non-exchange users, just reguar outlook users.
I used the corporate sync setup as well for Microsoft Exchange sync and didn't have any issues with syning emails, calendar or contacts.
If you proceed through Corporate Sync setup on the device (under Accounts, I believe, if you skipped it during activation) you can integrate with an Outlook server. I'm doing just that with my Sprint email, Calendar and Contacts and so far, so good.
Another alternative is to sync your Outlook (calendar & contacts) with gmail and you don't have to deal with all the hassles
Using the standard apps already on the phone I was able to sync with Outlook both emails and calender. Note that I installed Launcher Pro the full version. But I was getting Outlook email to work fine before the install. I just went to Accounts, Add Account and entered in my exchange info.
It is not working yet. I don't know if it will sync calender yet or not, but contacts it will once they release the updated software. I tried to sync mine last night and it said I need to go to App world and download "motorola PIM Sync - Windows" which is not found. So I clicked the link and it takes me to the page but it says it does not work with the MB855. Here is the link:
It looks like when it does work it will only work with contacts. Calender and notes and contacts can be done with Companion link software but you have to pay for it. I am tryint it out today.
Does anyone have experience with how well outlook works with the Motorola photon 4?
