I lost access to my iPhone after forgetting my iCloud password and it's now disabled. The account is now going through Apple's recovery process and it's taking a very long time. I can't go without a working phone for weeks and I was planning on upgrading anyway since my phone is pretty old, so I'd like to get a new phone with Sprint and transfer my number over.
Unfortunately, I can't log in to my Sprint account because I can't access the verification code Sprint sends at login time. The username and password are working, but can't get past the verification code. I tried talking to support but all they could offer was changing my password or waiting for Apple to sort this out. Is there any other path forward?
