4G in Wisconsin.. some coverage?

i've been picking up a solid signal with my Nexus S 4G by Woodmans east and East Town Mall. Sensorly seems to be spot on. i just hope they flip the switch for the rest of the city sometime soon. i only got to play with it for a couple minutes but it sure was faster than 3G

All hail the Hypno-Toad!  Well, at least we would if we could watch him on 4G...

It appears that the Madison Area now has four 4G towers.  More than most cities it's size in the country.  But for a full and seamless 4G service, the Madison area would need about 7 or 8 more.  Hopefully they will come for you folks sooner than later!

http://opensignalmaps.com/ or http://www.sensorly.com/ are 3rd party websites you can use to see where the towers are for 4G signals. If you have the apps on your andriod phones it helps update them.

In the Milwaukee area I do know that there are some spots for Sprint 4G near Miller Park. I found it out when i was at a Brewers game

3G is fine  I get good speeds but horrible coverage with that in Madison

By Sprints own papers I have seen on the web .. 4G will not be here, and WiMAX which is the current 4G coverage option in most areas (which current phones support) is being dropped.   Sprint must now make it's own true 4g or lease 4g towers from other companies.

Sprint must have someone reading these groups ... come on and give us some information.

You want to play with the big boys, keep the customers you have and give us some info.

I have been with Sprint for 12 years, not much longer if they cant get good signal, and 4G in areas where they advertise it !
