Bad Call Quality - Previous solutions don't help

Hello, I have experienced continuing terrible call quality when talking to people outside of the Sprint network. Why is the call quality so bad? People can't hear me and say that I sound like I am muffled and it's extremely hard to understand what I am saying

Is this happening in one spot in particular? Does it make a difference if you call someone versus them calling you?

"Is your name Wi-Fi? Because I'm feeling a connection."

I've had this occur in multiple locations and in multiple different states as well.

I haven't noticed any difference whether I call someone or they call me. It just always seems like the issue is the other person hearing me. I seem to hear them just fine

P.S. I love that quote in your signature 🙂

Haha thanks! How long has this been happening for and which phone are you on?

It's been happening for a long time. It happened to me on iPhone 7 and on my iPhone 8 Plus as well

If it helps, I'm mainly in Central Wisconsin

What's your ZIP Code and nearest cross streets there in WI?

Thanks! The coverage in that part of Marshfield for voice and data is pretty good, and I don't see any reported network issues.  Have you tried a network refresh on that iPhone 8?

When you say "Network Refresh" do you mean to perform this?
Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

I haven't tried this yet, but can do it
Highlighted

That's one way to do it, but you'll lose any saved WiFi networks.  Try this instead.

  1. Tap Phone icon.
  2. Tap Key Pad if necessary.
  3. Enter ##873283# then tap Call icon.
  4. When Starting Service Update appears, tap OK.
  5. When Service Update Complete appears, tap OK.
    • The radio will reset.
    • When Sprint displays in the top left corner, the iPhone update has completed

The issue seems to exist still. I did notice that while on the phone and switching phone audio source to my Macbook Air, the quality seemed to improve. Could this be an issue with my iPhone hardware?

Looks like we need to look into a ticket. Can you send me a PM?
